With your collection stored in your eMusic library, you can access, manage and play all your music on up to 10 devices, simultaneously! eMusic offers a full-featured web player and mobile app that automatically syncs with your eMusic cloud account, so you have access to your music whenever and wherever you want. So, instead of being tied to one platform (say Apple/iTunes), now you can access your collection using Mac, PC, Android or iOS devices.
If you’d still like to add your purchases to an alternate media player, like iTunes, you can simply download your albums and tracks, and then move them from your PC Downloads folder to the folder or player of your choice.
iTunes for Mac:
1. Download music and albums from eMusic to your Downloads folder.
2. Open iTunes, then open your (eMusic) downloads folder, and simply drag and drop folders or individual tracks into your iTunes library page. There's no need to "unzip" album files -- you can drag them into your iTunes library too.
iTunes for PC:
1. Download music and albums from eMusic to your Downloads folder.
2. Move new album and track files from Downloads folder to the folder of your choice.
3. Unzip album files: right-click on the zip file and select “extract all…” from the drop-down menu.
4. Open iTunes, then open the folder containing your new music, and simply drag and drop albums and/or individual tracks into your iTunes library page.
Windows Media Player:
1. Download music and albums from eMusic to your Downloads folder.
2. Open your Downloads folder and select the music file(s) you would like to add, and then right-click. Select "Add to Windows Media Player list". The files should then appear in your Windows Media Player playlist.
